If you are interested in developing skills in the construction trade, working on major projects in our community and providing a secure future for yourself and your family, Local 393 invites you to apply for apprenticeship!
Applications will be accepted online starting the first Tuesday of each month and will be open for 2 weeks.
Basic Qualifications
- Applicant must apply in person
- Must be 18 years of age at the time of application
- High School Graduate or GED Certificate
- Physically able to perform the work of the trade
- A reading, understanding, writing, and communicating ability, that would enable the applicant to perform the tasks of the CCL in a safe manner and comprehend the subject matter taught, in English only, in related training
DRUG TESTING SHALL BE REQUIRED UPON ACCEPTANCE INTO PROGRAM
Steps to completing the apprenticeship application:
Within ten (10) days of date of application, applicant must submit the following to Fund Office:
- Birth Certificate or documentation showing proof of age.
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- Transcript of grades (High School, GED Scores, College-if applicable).
- Military transfer or discharge - if in the military.
- References - OPTIONAL: Two (2) favorable references from: Associated General Contractors members, other signatory contractors, or Laborer Local Business Managers will be accepted.
